Hello there. Thanks for dropping by. I'm just a simple southern fellow born and raised in a tiny town in SC, so I do believe in being gentlemanly towards my lady friends. I am initially shy but warm up as I get to know someone. I retired from the Navy after a little over 21 years in the Submarine service and I am now working on my second career as an engineer for a government contractor. I have 1 son that lives with his mom in Virginia Beach. He is 12 years old and I see him as often as his social calendar permits......
I miss having that special someone in my life, so I'm ultimately looking for someone who fits well in all aspects for a long term relationship. I feel that physical attraction and chemisty are primal needs and can't be ignored. That being said, other than an attractive exterior (usually H/W proportionate and at least a little shorter than I...not trying to be mean, just honest...), other traits that draw me in are a beautiful mind, strong values, great warm smile, hearty laughter and a genuine desire to be happy.
