Get together planning only to have a nice time, not conduct an interview. A piano bar, watch the fireworks at Navy pier, walk around the zoo . Basically anything that allows us a chance to talk and get to know each other, have some laughs and see if there is a connection. Perhaps ending with a kiss and the desire for a 2nd date.
