Mostly here for the forum now. It's really a lot of work to keep the profile and pics fresh, so I don't do much of that anymore. Still, if I see that you have something interesting to say, I will message you. And if I have said anything that resonates with you, by all means, let me know.

A little wordy, but it's true.

Thanks for stopping by. Here, you will find a single guy who is:
- fun to be with (always the prankster)
- humorous (a closet comedian)
- active (nothing extreme, but always enjoys long walks or a mild hike)
- a HUGE dog lover (how can you not be!?!?)
- an avid reader (current events, biographies, science & technologies, guy's stuff)
- single (that means never been married and at this time, not sexually involved with anyone)

And as a person, you will find me to be:
- confident (which comes from really knowing myself)
- warm and affectionate (and not afraid to show it!)
- non judgmental (because life is not a beauty contest!)

- an optimist (the alternative is really not that great)

Okay, that in a nutshell is who I am. On a lighter side, I seldom go through a day without telling a joke, pulling a prank or just plain goofing around. I am not afraid to play (like a kid), nor am I easily embarrassed. When I first learned to ski a few years back, I kept falling down but I kept bouncing back up. These days I don't fall down much anymore but when I do, I've learned how to get back up pronto. Life is all about experimenting and getting better at it as we go. This summer, I like to try rollerblading. May be you can show me how!

I enjoy hanging out with friends and am gregarious by nature. Whether it's a friendly poker game or cheering on the Vancouver Canucks, I can be counted on being there, adding to the atmosphere. I love to go to the movies too; sometimes I go for the block-busters, other times it's the off-the-beaten-path foreign films. My work has taken me to many small towns across Western Canada, and I would love to travel more still. The more people I meet, the more I am able to find myself. Does that make sense?

I think everybody has an interesting story to tell so naturally I like to read biographies. What's your story? I don't judge the book by its cover and I hope you won't either. In my experience, some of the nicest people I know are ordinary looking, and some of the meanest souls have pretty looking faces. Ultimately I would like to be in a long term monogamous relationship, so I am not interested in anything but LT or dating leading to one. I am also not interested in long distance romance. I ask that you be a non-smoker, a light drinker (I rarely drink) and no substance abuse issues. Oh, I am most attracted to someone in their late 30s to mid 40s.
