I'm finding it hard to describe the "type" of guy that I am. I like cars, getting dirty, planning projects, computers, gaming, and many other things. On a personal level i like being laid back, low pressure, using dark sarcasm, double meanings, and the mental struggle (and reward) of getting to know someone. Being single, I've learned to cook well, clean acceptably and soon... hopefully... how to decorate. These plain white walls are slowly driving me insane. Well, I can try to blame the walls, can't I? ;)

If you think that sounds great, read on. Here comes the list of qualities I am looking for. Someone who cares about themselves, their family, and those they choose to surround themselves with. Being athletic or thin isn't at all important, but being a normal or healthy weight is. Unhealthy is unattractive(yes, both extremes). You don't need a college degree, but have your wits. If we can't converse about something other than the latest Hollywood drama I won't stay interested long, no matter how good you are in bed. Lastly, be responsible. You are the maker of your destiny, even in the economy as it is hard work and a desire to learn are rewarded.

My profile says "dating", and I would certainly like to do that. However I am not opposed to making new local friends. Also, I wish there was a check box to make all women who are not interested in talking to me not show in search results. :)

Something quick and easy so we can both walk away without too much inconvenience if things aren't what they seemed to be. Left up to me, we'll be at the nearby Starbucks. It may be an "evil corporation" but the consistency and number of locations mean it fits the bill.
