I'm an honest man who enjoys life. I'm flexible, considerate, and enjoy laughter. I'm not concerned with what you own, how much you earn, or who you know. I'm interested in where your going in life and how you plan to get there. I'm goal oriented and plan to get my MSW in 2009. My employment and personality is centered around helping others. I'm the real deal when it comes to honesty, passion, and integrity. I don't have time for drama, dishonesty, and/or games. I'm a person who wants to get the most out of life and help others along the way. I strive for improvement in myself (not perfection) and consider myself a life-long learner. I love new experiences, but I never get bored. When I look inward, I like what I see. I'm not the best looking, but my heart is great. I won't hurt you, because I'm sensitive to others feelings. I would consider myself a nurturer. I'm grounded in my faith, yet open to new ideals. I have flaws too. My nose is larger than I'd like. I wish I carried more body weight (I weigh 190lbs at 6'3").
I wrote this poem to describe my state of mind:
I sore with echoes of laughter. My tears of despair have ceased, because I have found her. When sorry enters my heart, she comforts me. I feel safe when I lay in her bosom. She is so lovely to behold…her eyes sparkle and her skin shimmers in the dimmest of moonlight. It is with her, I long to travel…never, do I wish to leave her side. I am nothing without her. When we are apart, my days are filled with sadness. Without her there is no comfort, beauty, or rest. When I lie in her arms, I feel the gentleness of her touch…her lips are sweeter than honey…her eyes give me hope…her words give me direction. Come with me, I shall take you to her. You must meet her and see for yourself. She is but a short distance away. Please, take my hand…don’t be afraid…she is real…she lives…I know her…Her name is Peace.

First, I would ask what you would like to do (teamwork is the best policy). Second, I would be a little nervous, so I would tell you a funny story about myself and ask you to share one with me (this will help break the tension). Even though I'm a romantic by heart, I wouldn't want to get too romantic with you (after all it is the first date). I'd be willing to go out to dinner, mall, movie, sporting event, or a drive with you (flexible people can adjust to anything). What would you like to do on a date with me?
