| | Noooo ... not the kind who ride in on their white horse and rescue fair damsels in distress ... just a gentle knight at heart that remembers women feel so deeply with ours ... one who lives with that type of 'honor' in their life. It's the die-hard romantic in me ... can't help it ... I LOVE being a woman and knowing the man in my life adores me as much as I adore him !!! Yes, I want you to spoil me ... but I DO enjoy being the one 'doing' the spoiling as well.  I'm just as happy cooking at home, as I am going out to eat ... especially for the holidays or special occassion dinners. Creating a 'home' where we can relish life is much more than 'finery' and I admit it ... I love 'nesting'. If it sounds like as if I'm ready to drag out the rocking chairs, let me say for the record ... MOST DEFINITELY NOT !!! All the finer things in life improve with age ... you just have to decide YOU are one of those finer things ... and I have !!! LOL Preferring 'quiet' to drama results in peace of mind ... I'm happy with my life and I hope you are as well. Sharing everyday pleasures with that 'special love' just brings new colors into the sunrise and sunsets. The artist in me daydreams sometimes about the 'what if' ... and IF you are 'out there' ... I'm here :} |

Hmmmmm ... that would depend on the time of year and what shared interests we have ... as much as I love movies, I don't think that would be my ideal first date with you. Getting to know each other better would be too restricted ... unless we used it as an 'ice-breaker' to get accustomed to each other's presence, then went for coffee or dinner afterward.
If you could stand it, I'd love to go to a museum and share opinions of the pieces we discover on a slow stroll thru the displays. I also realize that is like pulling most men's nails out inch by inch, so no demerits if you find that at the bottom of YOUR list !!!
Then, there is the old stand-by ... "Surprise me" ... let me see 'inside' the man ... which is much more important to me than the outside. I've grown up ... had my 'jock' period ... dated a professional football player even ... it was fun, but I'd find it really boring now I think.
I will admit ... I am a pushover for romantic little gestures and flowers ... lavendar roses make me swoon LOL ... but I don't believe diamonds are a girl's best friend ... a man who listens with his heart ... now that's MY idea of a best friend !!! |
