For starters, I'm not looking for someone to love me. I love myself plenty. I understand a relationship is supposed to enhance your life, not make or break it. I'm looking for someone to love. When I think about an ideal relationship, most of my thoughts veer towards what I'd like to provide for the other person. Things I'd cook, restaurants I'd take her out to, concerts we'd go to, impromptu road trips we'd take, favors I'd like to pay. I really think the desire to provide for someone else is one of the major hallmarks of maturity, and it is one I look for in people I spend time with. But at the end of the day, I won't search for contentment or qualify myself in whether or not I find these things, and I should hope you would do the same. And so by extension of that I guess I'm...looking for someone to love me? No one ever said this dating thing would make sense. Hah. Anyway, onward with my description.


I'm intellectual, philosophical and probably think I'm funnier than I actually am. I'm extremely passionate about reading, music, and a really terrific orange. I've been lucky enough to be able to travel overseas and have met some wonderful people. I think crossword puzzles are underrated and Sunday brunch doesn't get the respect it deserves. If you went to bed the same as when you woke up, you are completely missing out... there should be a constant battle to overcome complacency. The two single most important things in a relationship are a willingness to be pushed forward and a killer sense of humur. There are very few times in life I can't find something to laugh about. I also don't think I can overstate the importance of a smile, it says more than any profile can say.
