Tell the world about myself...

First off, I do message people to make random comments about their profile...if a picture catches my eye for whatever reason, or if there is a funny or thought provocing comment. Even if we are not looking for the same thing. I don't know if that is proper POF manners or not, it is not intended to waste anybody's time.

So having said that, I don't feel it right to "advertise" that I am looking for a relationship. Not that I am not open to one- if it happens, that would fabulous!! However, being a full time single Mom, to a busy boy with a hectic sports schedule, as well as having a full time career? Well, that just doesn't leave a lot of time to dedicate to making a relationship work! Or getting to know someone well enough to know if pursuing a relationship is something you want to do. The beauty of cyber comunication, after little ones bedtime :)

I have tried to pick out photos to post here that show some of the story of who I am- pictures are worth a thousand words, they say!


I do enjoy getting out with other adults, to adult venues when my son is visiting his Dad. I also enjoy hanging out on the couch in cosy flannels with a beer watching a game, as well.

I strive to make everything in my life fun and have been quite successful doing so. My sarcastic, slightly twisted sense of humor either offends or amuses- there doesn't tend to be much in between. It does allows me giggle like a fiend when a situation goes horribly awry, usually of my own doing! Some people think this is in part due to my Maritime origins ( yes, I am an import!!)

My fantastic, challenging career in the livestock industry provides plenty of fodder for my giggling fetish! Who knew taking blood samples from cows when it is -28C could be sooo much fun????

Outdoors is where I prefer to be, be it walking the dog, mud bogging on the quads, playing road hockey, water fight with all the kids on the block, or just hanging out on the front step with a cuppa and a good book watching the world go by.

Eating is a passion of mine, and nothing says hello like cheesecake! There is nothing wrong with potatoe and bread with a good steak. Lobster requires newspaper, a butcher knife as well as plenty of butter. Asparagus and chocolate cake do not require utensils. The best way to start the day is with strong coffee.

Music depends on the mood-jazz and blues, country, old rock, traditional folk and if there is a bonfire, there had better be a guitar! I love to sing...sorry! LOL

****Please note...I need to make it clear that my son and his activities are priority in my life at this point. Seriously. Don't message me and expect me to go meet you for the first time right NOW. I am not going to walk out my door at 11 PM to meet you for coffee.....and if you think I am "playing hard to get" , "being a b!t@$", or on this site to be a "tease", then that is your perogative.
