Time for an update..... I am still looking for that someone. I have talked to a few people here and I will say that there are many nice people here. I am planning on going back to school in the fall. I figure that I am 38 and I want to get it done. I am also quitting smoking, had enough of it. It's not easy to do. That's about it in a nutshell. Wanna know more, just ask. I guess this is where I talk about myself, well, here goes. I think that I am a down to earth type of guy, not looking for a one night stand or that type of thing. I have a wonderful 15 year old daughter that is the love of my life and I would do anything for her. I have been out of the dating scene for a while now and want to get back into it. I've taken some time to get things back in order in my life so the person that I date has to have their life in order. I mean, everyone has their problems in life and will always have the occasional curveball thrown their way but they must be willing to deal with them. I guess I am looking for someone that is kind and good hearted, has a good sense of humor, likes to have a good time (either going out on the town or sitting at home watching a movie), honest. You know, all that normal stuff that people look for in a person. I have had my share of hurt in past relationships and I am sure that many other people have had that so I am not going to dwell on that. If you think that you would be the one for me, drop me a line.

A first date would be having dinner somewhere to talk and get to know each other. Then go for a walk in a park to talk some more. Maybe after that, go and have drinks or just shoot pool or toss some darts. The best way to get to know someone is to be together and talk about things that come to mind.
