Here's a little blurb about me and you.

Me - in some ways not your typical average guy but then again in other ways completely typical and average (ain't we all), good shape for a 53 year old, exercise regularly (have for years), about 6' 2, about 200 lbs., salt and pepper but most of my hair still here, photos are recent and not so recent (one dating back as far as 8 years ago and some as recent as last year - might not be as easy to guess as you think). I can be creative and spontaneous but can also be analytical, logical and methodical (sounds like contrasts but it works for me). Which brings me to my profession and hobbies which are art and technology. If you want you can go to www.jhoganart.com and see some of the things I've done with the art part. Ummm.......let's see, what else - like activities (doing more than watching) - skiing, tennis, motorcycles, music of almost all kinds especially live outdoor concerts, dancing (yes you heard right a guy my age that actually likes to dance), art galleries, kayaking, a good book, a good movie, fishing, hiking, you name it. Ummm......fairly well educated (couple of degrees), fairly well read, fairly well traveled, raised a country boy as a child around all kinds of farm animals including horses but like animals in general. Divorced about 9 years now, have dated a bit (quite a bit) but still looking around (obviously. I have my kid's every other weekend (a 23/girl a 19/boy and a 15/girl) all of whom I'm close to - relationally not geographically. The every other weekend thing is not as consistent as it used to be when they were younger and I mostly have just my youngest now. I have worked in the world of education and technology for several years, however, (or maybe because of).....don't have a lot of money but am able to do many things I want to. I also have a strong belief system - belief in God that is, go to church just about every Sunday and all that, I guess that's good enough for now..........

You - would prefer someone on the slender side or HWP (at least I think so), don't want to sell myself (or you) short here, not sure exactly what I'm looking for to tell you the truth. I suppose I do unconsciously and I suppose I could come up with some kind of dream girl but I'm not sure if that is the way to go (despite what most people do and think on these things)..........maybe somebody who can admire what they think are my good qualities and be amused (or at least not too critical) at what they think are my not so good ones. They would probably need to have a similar belief system. If I ever find "the one" I'm sure it'll be a combination of what is on the inside and what's on the outside. I think I'm looking to be inspired - in whatever form that may take. At any rate, for now........ity's fun going out and doing things - movies, concerts, events, activites .........I would like to do these things with somebody I like, am comfortable with and am attracted to at whatever level.
