I'm looking for someone to make every day more special than it already is. Just for me and no one else. Someone that likes to hang out with friends, piddle around the house, go on weekend trips, go out for breakfast, lunch or dinner once in a while (whether its to a pub, diner or fancy restaurant), have cozy, and/or romantic dinners at home, (I can cook, OR . . . you can), and hanging out on the couch with a good movie (maybe with some Chinese takeout). Summer is great for hanging on the deck with each other or with friends, maybe a couple of drinks and some music and good conversation - and an occasional dip in the hot tub (oops . . . the hot tub is gone now - so OK . . . life will be hanging out on the deck without the TUB.
I've been in this area all of my life and hold an 8-5 job, 5 days a week. Evenings and weekends are mine to do as I please. I have two children, my son is 21 and my daughter is 24. My son lives with me and my daughter is out on her own and enjoying life (ups and downs included. I have a TOTO (Wizard of Oz) dog and an African Grey Parrot and I'm into fixing up my house. I piddle around with crafts once in a while and can be quite creative at times. I enjoy holidays and spending time with the family.
I am definately a jeans type of person. Comfort is important to me. I guess what is also important is to not judge people by their looks, as there are many special people out there in all kinds of disguises. :) We all just have to find the one we "mesh" with.

On a first date it's nice to meet somewhere local for a couple of drinks and maybe a bite to eat.
