My name is Emanuel and I am a hopeless romantic. I tend to work a lot but I really love my job, so it isn't that bad. I am searching for the happiness I see when I look at my friends who have found the one special someone.

I was born in Montreal and have an affinity for hockey (both playing and watching). I enjoy watching movies of all kinds, especially watching bad ones with friends. Making fun of bad movies is as fun as watching good movies in my opinion. In my spare time I like reading (currently reading the Dark Tower series by Stephen King), playing hockey, watching movies, hanging out with friends and family and recently, working on my new house. I also really love cooking and am spoiled now with a full kitchen! I can have a fun night either at home with a movie and some home cooked food or out getting some drinks, playing pool, or just hanging out and talking. For me fun is who I'm with, not as much what I'm doing.

I consider myself a kind person with a great sense of humor. I am very giving and understanding. I would like to meet someone who is kind, compassionate and most importantly, comfortable with who she is. I think people with similar or different likes and dislikes can get along and learn to enjoy new things, so as long as she is willing to share her likes and try mine, there is potential.

I like keeping the first date casual and personal, such as ice skating or sitting outside and having a few drinks. It's all about getting to know the person.
