Hi! I'm 46, 6 ft, 175 lbs (lost some weight recently, have to update pictures soon...). I like a good cigar sometimes. I used to be a computer programmer, working 100+ hours a week doing the same thing day after day, so seven years ago I made a big change in my life. I went back to school and learned a different trade. Now I'm an appliance repairman for Miele USA (the Bentley of appliances made in Germany) and I'm home by 5pm. I love my job because its different every day.

I'm from Vancouver B.C. and grew up in a three kid, two parent family. We hiked in the spring, swam in the summer, fished in the fall, and skated in the winter. We moved from Canada to California in 1978. Lived in Concord, CA until moving to the Orange County area in the 80's.

I'm easy-going and get along with most people. I have a good time when I'm with my family or friends; fixing their broken appliances and computers(LOL), barbeques, catching up on recent events, watching movies, rockin' to 60's, 70's, and 80's music, walking through the mall, going to the park or the beach or mountains, eating dinner late at a 24 hour restaurant, or driving around in my old 1966 Plymouth.

I have two kids; my 16 year old daughter and my 10 year old son. They live with their mother (we divorced in 2003). My son plays on a soccer team and my daughter is in her schools' marching band. I am proud of them every day.

My ideal lady would like a guy who cooks because I love to cook, appreciates someone who is romantic and spontaneous, and considers herself smart and happy. She has a job she loves and likes going out as much as staying in. She is sociable, outgoing, and can laugh at herself. She has friends and family who care about her enough to call her during our first date just to see how everything is going.


I'm looking for a lady to share my life with. Someone to love and who will love me. And I do believe in TRUE LOVE. I have lots of energy and spirit for life. And lots of heart and soul for love. When I die I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car.
