I decided to do an update on my profile, as much has changed in my life since my last edit. I work full time and am also a full time student which keeps me very busy. Although in spite of having a lot to do in a 24 hour period, both work and school allows me enough freedom to dictate exactly how I squeeze it in. I seem to be a lot more comfortable with the written word than I am with the spoken word, so I find myself being very quiet and kind of on the fringe in social situations.
With the help of some mentors I've focused my life on four top priorities.
1. MY faith: I am a Christian, and my life's decisions center around my understanding of what God expects of me. My faith is very personal and is driven by relationship with God more than rules or religion. Please understand that I'm a flawed man and have a lifetime of mistakes and short comings. This doesn't make me a hypocrite. It just makes me human.

2. My family: This includes the family I hope to one day have as well as the family I was born into. I was born into a wonderful if somewhat eccentric family, and I hope to use a lot of the values in my own family that I was raised with.

3. My finances: Thisk is a tricky one as my youthful indiscretions have left me with consequences that I'm still living with today. However God has made me strong, intelligent, and creative. Add to that a work ethic and patience and I know that I've got a great future to look forward to.

4. My fitness: I believe that quality of life is directly proportional to health. Being healthy is important to long term happiness. This includes watching what I eat and making sure I'm always active physically and mentally.

These last few paragraphs give a general idea of who I am, or at least who I hope I'm becoming. I belive it's a fine line between a nice guy and a good man. I'm just hoping that I'm somewhere between the two.

We would meet at a Barnes and Noble, or Borders, and take 30 minutes to find 5 books to help describe ourselves to the other. It's a fun exercise, and a chance to be creative.
