Update: it's Monday, I am suddenly free, and have nothing to do. Any ideas?

I am happy, independent, basically fearless, although paradoxically it does not prevent me from being shy. Actually have a brain, though sometimes you would not tell. Seeking an active, outdoorsy intellectual who does not want to marry right away. I know, that's too much to ask.

In other words, I am looking for a guy who does not need pleading and cajoling to lift his rear side off the couch, does not mind a few mosquitoes and/or a little snow under his collar (I'll settle for one or the other) and can maintain a conversation on a subject more abstract than what he had for dinner last night. Does this describe you?

I am up for anything outdoors, and if it involves water, I don't need to be asked twice (wink, wink). Not a polar bear by our standards, do need a wet suit if it's under 50, but that might change. Used to live right on the beach, in a tiny one-bedroom, swim off my own bulkhead at night, and loved every minute of it. Will do it again some day. Swimming in cold water, on sunset, is something one has to experience: Fire, Earth, Air and Water, and sometimes maybe even a bit of civilization faaaaaaar behind, waiting from the beginning of time to be one, and becoming one through you, the missing link.. it energizes me so much I can't be cold for a month afterward. Yeah, I know, you are a guy, here I am losing your attention right there.

I have a very serious, philosophical side to me, and am actually very much an introvert, something I've always been trying to suppress, not sure why. I do have my playful moods though, so I hope you don't take yourself too seriously. Trust me, you don't want to walk anywhere near sprinklers with me. Unless of course you have a cell phone on you, then you are completely safe. Had to learn that one the hard way. Oops.

Here is my migration path: Moscow - Tel-Aviv - Seattle, with a few twists and turns in between. It probably won't end here, but for now, I LOVE the Northwest. The rain suits me well. A water sign, what can I say.

I can be very intuitive. When I was a child, I had a sense of orientation, like an animal, a built-in compass, never understood how people can get lost or hungry in the forest. It's gone now, but I still enjoy hiking or driving around unfamiliar places with no map, a compass or two maybe. Usually get where I want to anyway ;-)

Are you still reading? To be honest, I am not sure anything I wrote here holds true. It felt true a year ago; now it's more of a game, a façade.. but an interesting one, no?

Write to me, OK? Even if you wrote before and I did not answer... especially then. Told you I can be shy.. might just take a little persuading. And if you made yourself a few years younger in this online world.. now is the time to tell. I mean, trust me, it really is
