I like to read everything from Rilke to J.K. Rowling. I'd be the world’s greatest saxophone player if I ever learned how to play. I actively attend movies (or, as the French call it, “Le Film”). I like scientific studies that prove that drinking coffee prevents heart disease. Despite being 5’8”, I believe that I was the original inspiration for the Paul Bunyan stories.

I may sling around numbers and words for a living, but someday I'll tear off a scorching screenplay or a stunning novel that'll make everyone sit up and say "boy howdy."

I have a marketing job I love, a family I love, friends I love, and a carton of ice cream in my freezer that's really just so-so. I think that's a pretty good average.

Some things I'd like to do more: travel, run, and nap.

Some things I'd like to do less of: Drive behind people who don't use turn signals, print behind people who jam the printer, and talk to people who say things like "at the end of the day" and "I don't have the bandwidth."

Also close talkers, but I think Seinfeld got that one.

I dislike dates that resemble job interviews. I like dates that are immediately comfortable, fun, and contain an underlying chemistry. Obviously, that's a pretty delicate mixture to get right. But with the right person, it's not too difficult at all.
