 About Me
Looking to meet a woman whos not afraid to try new things, and is open minded, and honest. I am looking for someone mature, but who also knows to have fun. Im looking for a caring person that would like to share occasional walks in the evening and such. Walking in a park, watching a movie, or just talking are some of my favorite activities. I love things that challenge the brain and are intellectual but know how to have fun too. I dont take part in picture exchanges and find it fairly annoying when a persons only response is "got a pic?". Due to there being some real whackos, weirdos out there, I will not send a picture. I dont ask for pictures either.

I also believe in chivalry, and holding open doors for a lady, picking her up, driving her home etc.. I believe you could say I am old fashioned. Im also something of an adventurer and will take spontaneous long road trips.

I should also mention that family is important to me.

I appreciate the simple things in life... A nice walk, going for coffee and having pleasent conversation rather then an expensive meal, and awkwardness. I guess you could say I am very down to earth. Age, race, looks are all unimportant to me. Intelligence (doesnt have to be book smarts) and personality is very important to me.

I lifted this from a profile on here. I think its very true:

"Good Men are indeed all around us. We pass them on the streets, in the
malls, and at work. Most we can't see because we don't know what a good man
really looks like. He usually isn't flashy enough or rich enough to turn our
heads. He might not wear a suit or drive the foreign cars. But, as you mature, you realize it's better to find someone who's got your back rather than someone who turns your head..."

I should also mention I like pets and kids, so single moms are welcome!

I also work full time and spend my time commuting between Toronto and South Western Ontario. Ideally, Im looking for someone in the GTA, but I am fairly open. Naturally though, my time is fairly limited.

Due to the number of really wierd responses I have received, I have decided to publish a few of them here. These are direct quotes:

1. "ok i want to see a pic."

Someones not reading my profile. Thats all I got. 7 words.

2. "Hey, ok, to be honest, you actually sound like one of those weirdo internet dating freaks. But I will talk to you..."

This is the only response to my ad I received like this. Im not sure if the problem is with my ad? If so, can some tell me whats wrong with it? I would also be curious as to why I am a internet dating freak, but the other person who is also internet dating is not considered a freak. Interesting.

3. "pic?"

Thats it. one word. Short form at that. I could write a book to someone, an essay, and I will get back a one word response. I have to wonder about the future of communications.

4. "I need to see a head shot"

Didnt read my profile either.

5. "Maybe about 2 months ago I would have taken you up on the chatting offer, as of then I was straight. Now I'm gay!!"

I have no clue what to say to that one...

6. "...because you dont have one it makes you look like a weirdo"

This was a reply I got since I dont have a picture up. Its true. Im a weirdo since I dont have a picture up. Im not cool. :( Maybe I will post one of me with a beer. That seems to be the cool thing. Or maybe one of me giving the middle finger. Then I would be super-cool! Or maybe one of me just showing my chest, or standing beside a car thats not even my car, and pretending its mine. Ultra cool! If by chance you have actually read this far, please do me a favor and put the word "clock" in the subject line when you reply. Im cruious to see how many people actually read the profile rather then just look for a picture. I would appreciate it.

In terms of the "I posted a picture its only fair that you should". Um, yes you did post one, but I didnt ask you to.

Its interesting the only negative feedback I get is about not having a picture.

Seriously, you people gotta relax.

Oh, and please dont add me to your favorites list unless you going to talk to me. I deleted a half dozen people the other day since they seem to add me, but never talk to me. And no Im not a lawyer its just a user name, so please stop asking me for legal advice!

 First Date
Going somewhere quiet and is not too loud so we can talk and see what happens from there. I think relaxing helps bring down a lot of walls and leads to conversations that allow both people to open up and be honest about who they are and what they are looking for. Perhaps a walk in the park? For sure not dinner or the movies. I want to be able to talk to you, and get to know you, not sit and watch a movie, or trying to avoid talking with food in my mouth.
