I'm easy-going, down-to-earth, compassionate and passionate. I'm honest to a fault; it sometimes involves putting my foot in my mouth, but I've got a kind heart and know how to apologize.

I enjoy a wide variety of activities and would love to find someone who has SOME of those similar interests - museums, opera, plays, movies, hiking, camping, music events and concerts. Some of my favorite places and things to do are hiking and camping in Big Bend, Enchanted Rock, Krause Springs,ACL Fest (I've gone every year except one),walking the Green Belts and Lady Bird Lake.
I would really love to find a walking partner. Are you interested? I'm also open to learning and doing new things.

Some of my favorite music: Moody Blues, Willy Nelson, Muse, Yani, Dixie Chicks, Beethoven, Mozart, Sting, Fleetwood Mac, also some blue grass, regae, jazz, latin, the list goes on and on. Favorite operas - Phantom of the Opera and Carmen.

I love to travel and try to get back to Florida once a year to visit my family and the beach. I find Texas history fascinating and enjoy traveling around Texas visiting old, historic towns and sites, also art and history museums. I usually go to Dallas and Houston museums at least 2 or 3 times a year. King Tut in Dallas , Impressionist art from the Metropolitan, Pompei exhibit and Lucy exhibit in Houston are my most recent visits.

I'm officially eligible to retire this month! However, since I'm only 56, I plan to work a few more years to build up my retirement further. I look forward to traveling, volunteering and just relax and smell the roses, when I finally do retire.

I would eventually like to have a long-term relationship, someone to share life with, laugh with, maybe grow old with. I'm not even close to being old yet :-). In the meantime, let's have fun and see what we enjoy doing together and we'll see where it goes from there. If we just become walking buddies or friends, that would be great too.

For a first meeting, I would enjoy meeting for coffee at Mozart's or Central Market or your suggestion is welcome, just some place quiet where we can converse and get to know each other better. If you're with someone whose company you enjoy, it really doesn't matter where you meet.
