Sense of humour is a pre-requisite for me! I have a fairly warped and twisted sense of humour at the best of times, but I am also capable of laughing AT myself!!
I am a very honest person and will always be up front - I expect the same in return. I'm very much a "go with the flow" kind of girl - no expectations imposed or perceived. I'm in no rush, the best relationships tend to be formed on friendship which obviously takes a little time to cultivate.
I have 3 girls that are going real cheap on Ebay at the moment... LOL! No seriously, they are all pretty good - no ADD or juvenile aid records!! They are also a little older, so are reasonably independent.
I work full time, so it's hard for me to find a lot of 'me' time - as a result, I just do what I can, when I can. No point stressing the little things huh?! If you want to meet "yesterday", then chances are I can't & won't want to! As I said, I'm not in a huge hurry, so please understand my situation.
I would rather a coffee by the bay as opposed to dinner at a restaurant. I like to get to know someone in "real" situations. I would rather it be natural and relaxed. Less expectations that way.
What you see is what you get with me... I won't pretend to be someone i'm not.
I like to dress nicely and take pride in my appearance. Jeans and sarongs are my favourite weekend casual wear though! As it's important to some people, I think it prudent to mention that I have tattoo's and some piercings. Keep in mind, I work in an office, so most people wouldn't know I have them at all. The are part of me, but they don't define 'who I am'.
Beauty definitely stems from the inside.. And as for having a certain "type"... well, it's either there when you meet or it's not!!!! I don't care if you're 6'3" and built like the Greek God Adonis or 5'7" and have a verandah over the toolshed (!! Or a shadesail over the playground?!) If you can make me laugh and spark that special "something" when we meet, then that's what counts. Yes, obviously appearance has something to do with igniting that spark - but without the rest-it's nothing.
I play sport every week faithfully and passionately! I enjoy getting out and playing beach cricket... or bocce (bowls) in the park... I love a day out at the drags or bbq's with friends.. a few drinks, a good feed and lot's of laughs! I'm willing to try almost anything at least once! And my ultimate goal is to Skydive!!!!!
I'm a very affectionate person who just wants to find someone who understands the meaning of real love and commitment and isn't afraid to try for it! Too many people don't understand the whole "through good times AND BAD" thing.. it's easier to walk out then work it out - well, not for me! If I believe in something, I'll give it 210%.
The thing I miss most about having a partner is the whole "couple social interaction" thing.. you know - bbq's with friends, drinks and a few laughs.. I am NOT looking for someone to move in, or be a 'fill in father'. I am very independent and enjoy my time on my own. I am in no desperate hurry as I don't have a 'void' to fill, but would like a best friend to spend some time with and eventually lead to something long term and more serious. I don't NEED someone in my life.. but I would LIKE to have someone to shower my affection on!! (oh, and pick on, and wrestle with, and give wedgies to, and have water fights with and draw on their face when they're asleep!! YOu know.. all the fun stuff!)

Maybe a game of Putt Putt .. or something relaxing and not up tight.. something you can just be yourself doing! A shaving cream fight for instance.. LOL!
