Put Tom Hanks's sensitivity, Seinfeld's sense of humor, and Travolta's dimples in a blender, you get me! I'm a mass of interesting contradictions. There are not enough "D's" in "A.D.D." for me and I'm okay with that. I'm an artist (mother is a painter) who talks like an attorney (father is a lawyer). Qualified for MENSA, but as Groucho said, would never belong to a club that would have somebody like me as a member. I'm a makeup artist (theatrical and tattooed cosmetics), never married, who collects antiques, sings show tunes, does ballroom dancing, and I'm STRAIGHT! Go figure. I'm a Chicago native with a NYC personality who likes L.A. weather. So I have apartments and clients in all three cities. But I'm in Chicago mostly, and trying to be in NYC more, with only the occasional visit to L.A. I'm a bit like dating a flight attendant, without the great travel privileges. I used to be a musical theater performer, and now writing musicals is my passion. Be prepared to be seranaded without notice! I'm an artsy "culture vulture" who still isn't sure how many guys are on a football team. I give great back rubs, with or without the oil, seeking same. I'm tactile, sensual, creative, funny, flexible, caring, loyal, loving, and ready for the right woman in my life. I'd like to find the love of my life who will encourage me to nail my shoes to the floor in one place. But the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step...or at least a cup of coffee!

Emails are a fine place to start. But there's a chemistry in person which either does or doesn't happen very quickly, and which trumps all previous communication. So it's important to get to the coffee stage as soon as possible. If coffee goes well, we have the rest of our lives. If it doesn't, let's just move on. However, once we see the light in each other's eyes, and are captured by one another's smile, then we can catch a movie, sing karaoke, stroll through a museum, dress up for the theater, or dress down for popcorn and a movie on the couch. However, I'm open to breaking this rule and starting out with a bigger plan for a first meeting if the chemistry is undeniable even at a distance. I like to stay open to wonderful possibilities.
