Hmmmm.... what can I say about myself in a quick fashion that will allow others to get an idea about who I am and what makes me tick?

Very new to Edson, divorced, independAnt and have 3 children - yes I did say three. I work Monday through Friday at a career that I truly enjoy.


I am very active and spend much of my free time (what little I have) riding bikes around town with the kiddies, the great outdoors (nothing beats the Jasper area!!), putzing around the yard (attempting a flower garden this year), etc. I also have a very active mind, so if I ever find myself in front of the tv, it is an educational program I am watching. I also enjoy reading a variety of non fiction, and subscribe to a few science magazines.... (I am a true closet geek).

Whether it be in my career, my education or my personal life, I am always challenging myself in one way or another. I believe that I can move mountains if I set my sights and take action. I am a go getter who does not put off what can be done tomorrow - around here, it gets done today!

My intent of this ad is not to seek out a "husband", but to find someone with whom I can share conversations with (profanity addicts need not apply), browse a book store with, enjoy a good coffee with, trek the mountain side with, birdwatch with, fix something with (kitchens - if you know how to reno kitchens, definitely say hi!!), etc. Hoping to meet others who have initiative and and enjoy mental stimulation.

I am very satisfied with my life and how it stands at present and would hope that those who respond are also content with their present situations and aren't looking for a woman to "make their life whole".

I honestly can't answer this one at present - it all depends on the situation, the other participant, etc. All depends on how comfortable 2 people are with eachother and their interests as to how a first date could/should look.
