This always seems to be the difficult part, doesn't it? Well, to begin with, I have been divorced for a little more than a year now, and new to the online scene.

I enjoy life and am looking for that special person to enjoy it with. I have a wonderful life. I have God, family, and friends that are better than all of the gold in Fort Knox, a job that provides me with a way to support myself.

Am I perfect? No, not by a long shot! I have my days where I want to throw my hands up in the air and say why bother!! But then I remember how blessed I am and where I was a few years ago. So I get over my pity party and get on with my life. I have spent the last 23 years in drama and I dont want any more.

I would love to find someone thats like to take long walks to nowhere, camp out with the crickets, walk barefoot in the mud, play under the waterfalls, look for the yard sale bargains, get sand between our toes, scream in the concert, sleep in on some mornings, stay up counting the stars, spill popcorn at the movies, spontanious drive to see how far a tank of gas will get us, have a snowball fight and make snow angels, cuddle by the fireplace, cooking that special meal for the two of us, Just enjoy life, the scenery, nature and the exercise.

I have found that it is more important to know what you are not looking for than what it is you are, but here are a few things that I need:

A woman who is mature, has her act together, not full of drama, is educated (whether it be high school or a PhD doesnt matter), but isnt afraid to show affection and attention. She must know how to talk and communicate and she is honest and trustworthy.

Read this part carefully... I do not care how much money you have or what you can buy me... what I want is someone who is honest, sincere and loyal. A word of encouragement, a passionate kiss, and a really good back rub cost nothing but means everything.... I love to pamper and spoil and would love nothing more than to have the favor returned by that special someone. If you are emotionally secure and willing to put in the time and effort that it takes to build a realationship.
What you will get in return:

A man who is mature, honest, not afraid of his feelings, has delt with baggage and doesn't blame you for every bad thing that a woman has ever done to me. I can communicate and not leave you guessing what it is that I want or need. I will tell you. When in a relationship I am 100% honest and faithful and expect the same in return.

A few things that I do not want. If you are married do NOT contact me. It may not bother you, but for years I was on the other end of that little game and I will NOT play with anyones feelings or emotions. It hurts way too much. If you are seperated, please deal with that before contacting me. You need to be able to figure out what you want in life before you can offer anything to anyone. I am not looking for a quick roll in the hay or another notch on my bedpost. I am well beyond that point and hope you are as well.

I would like to be married again someday but I know that it can't happen overnight. I do not expect to be married next week or next month. Maybe not even next year. But someday hopefully if it is God's will. Until then I am enjoying the life I have, spending time with the people I love, and patiently waiting for you!

I can honestly say that I have no preference. It is more about enjoying the person that you are with than where you go and what you do..I enjoy a good dinner but I also like to cuddle up on the couch and watch a movie at home. I love four star restaurants but nothing beats wings and a glass of sweet tea..LOL.I can dress up for a night out but am perfectly happy in jeans and a t-shirt grilling at home. For me it is about enjoying the person you are with. But I hope the most important thing on our first date would be sharing our thoughts and hopefully discovering one another.
