Hi! I'm Kate. I consider myself an optimistic, happy person. I also think I am pretty normal (but then again the crazies usually don't realize they are crazy, so who knows?) I don't like drama and try to have peace in my life.

I'm at a good place in my life. I have great friends, a great family, nice social life, nice job (somedays).

I am very family and home-oriented. I love to garden, decorate my home, cook nice meals, light candles, open up a bottle of wine and watch a movie. I go nuts over the holidays. I truly believe home is where the heart is, there's no place like home, all those good cliques. My ideal match would also have strong family values.

However, I'm not necessary old-fashioned as far as relationships go. I really would like to find a true partner in life. Someone to inspire and be inspired by. (Hoping to find someone to inspire me to get to the gym more often...sigh) One of my favorite quotes is:

I'm passionate and loving, serious but silly, ambitious but not competitive. I don't waste my time "keeping up with the Jones'". I am very responsible, but I don't sweat the small stuff (something new I've learned). I make careful financial decisions. I like people who are hard working, kind and loyal. I am looking for a man with character.
