Life is about contrasts such as spicy and sweet. I'm both wild child and contemplative philosopher, and I like it that way. Boxes, after all, are for packing. I'm a 'Sharon Stone meets Jenny McCarthy' in red lipstick kinda gal. I've never been accused of being dull, shallow, punctual nor average. "Energized" is a polite way of saying "the girl never stops moving" and more than once I have been threatened to have my batteries removed. That being said I also have the uncanny ability of falling into a light coma when the first opportunity presents itself, and I know that sitting still is critical, particularly when sharp scissors meet hair. I laugh often - at my own expense - 'cause if something crazy and entirely improbable is going to happen...it will happen to me! ;> All in all, I throw myself into an experience to gain awareness...and wear scars and smiles with equal pride.

Chemistry is difficult to pin down as it is a concoction that changes with every mix, but I do admit to some minimum requirements:

- Physical attributes will vary, but suffice to say I prefer someone who doesn't need a definition of "athletic"...and "tall" should be a given as I am 5'10" living life as 6'1" in heels.
- Ideally, you value "intellect" and thoughtful opinions. We can debate a few socio-political issues good naturedly.
- You're happiest with someone who shares similar and sometimes independent passions. For example, we'll high-five each other on the way out the door as I head to my sporting events, and you head to yours...maybe meet you at a pub after the game?
- If your friends and ex-lovers got together, they would agree that you are devilishly handsome with a huge heart. Passionate, loyal, quietly confident would also come to mind...but now it sounds like I'm describing a German Shepherd...so let's move along. ;>

Passion is a key element in all relationships. It's the glue that binds when tough times happen. I've done the long-term and the short-term relationships. I know what it takes to make something work, and I am not willing to settle for anything less than that extraordinary connection. Ultimately I'm looking for a partner...a man who gives me a reason to put the brakes on and enjoy the moment, over and over again.

Well, I'm not a fan of the interview-style date but parts of it are necessary evils. Anything involving a great Shiraz, dark chocolate and revealing conversation is welcomed. The date location may vary according to mood...but rules out scuba diving. Way too hard to swallow the wine.
