Just a simple man, living a simple life, sailing up and down the East Coast with the seasons. A long held dream that I have made a reality. Would like to meet an unencumbered lady with a gypsy spirit to share it with. Someone who is more interested in doing, than in dreaming, who defines herself by what she has within, than by what she owns. Someone who sees each day as the opportunity for a new adventure, rather than something to just get through.

I'm honest and straightforward, and expect the same. I don't cart around baggage from the past, as you can't dance on the bow of the boat in the moonlight carrying a couple of suitcases.

I'm far from perfect, but I do keep working at it, and treat others as I would want them to treat me. I'm at a point in my life where I have nothing to prove, nor doubts about my self-worth. I also feel by now, I have a pretty good handle on what is important, and what is fluff.As much as I love and enjoy what I'm doing, I could set it aside to build a lasting relationship.

Chemistry is nice, but sometimes, if you have the proper ingredients, you just have to mix them together and let them gel. Fireworks are exciting, but they're only for the moment. I prefer a well tended fire that burns long and clean.

The occasional smoking is a pipe by the way.
