Update: I have edited my "I am looking for" to FRIENDS. Some say I am too picky. I say why not be? So I will be very happy if I make a few new friends.... no expectations, no pressure, just friends.

If distance is an issue, then change your critieria so it reflects the fact you don't want to travel....saves a lot of time and energy....thanks.
Someone recently told me, referring to my statement about distance: "You were very clear that you needed to find a man who could come to you". That isn't true. What I mean is if you don't want to at least make an effort...then don't contact me. That's all. Distance is so trivial to me. So whatever is easy for you....

Friendship takes time. If you don't have time to build a relationship based on friendship, please pass me by. What happened to the days of a man courting a woman? Calling on a regular basis, planning a date. There has to be more than a call a week or an invitation to go out via email. Where is that personal touch? The romance? The excitement? Can I really be that old fashioned?

I pray for us all on POF who are looking for that one partner. I pray that God puts it on your heart to respond. And you'll know who you are if you are listening.
