I am sorry, I know that some women expect to go out to dinner or something for a first date. Me, I think that a first date should be something simple, like coffee or lunch. I am not trying to be cheap. I just don't feel like spending a lot of time with someone if you know it isn't right. I can usually tell pretty fast if there is any point in talking for more than a few minutes. If the first date goes well, hey, I am willing to spring for a nice night out after that. Flowers and all.
