It's not easy to describe yourself and not sound egotistical or putting yourself down. The best thing to do is to tell the truth, so here it goes as best as I can do....

I'm a shy, single guy who enjoys life and tries to see the best in things. Idealistic? Maybe, but what's wrong with that?

I do have a somewhat warped sense of humour, finding the funny in even tragic events. It bugs the heck out of my daughters and sometimes I do it just to bug them!

I don't have any pets (though I do love dogs and like cats). I bowl in a 5-pin league one nite a week for fun.

I enjoy cooking when there is someone to cook for which, unfortunately, is not often.

I'm intelligent and can hold a conversation on just about any topic. I can be one of the best friends that you have.
I don't climb mountains, hike, jog, ski, BASE jump or run up the Grind. If you do, that's great and more power to you, but there's no way I could do them now for a number of reasons. I'll take that tram up and have a beer waiting for you.

My philosophy is "I may always grow older, but I'll never grow up." (But then, aren't all we men like that?)

I would love to meet a lady that I can go out with and enjoy myself. Someone who is intelligent and funny, who is interested in things happening in the world. Someone else who can see the good in people and not be too judgemental of them.

BTW, sorry about the pic. It's not the best of me but it's the only one I have! I've also been told I look younger than my picture shows me.

First date? Hmmmmm, like most folks here, I think that a coffee date would be best. It's relaxing and can last as long as you want it to.
