Hi Fishies! Thanks for taking the time to read my profile. Please do read all the gobbly-gook here, because it really does say a lot about me and what I'm all about.

I appreciate the simple things in life....time with friends and family. Hiking, camping, enjoying nature. I'm not one to sit in front of the TV for hours at a time, but on a blistery day there's nothing better than cuddling up, eating pizza and junk and having a film fest when it's just too cold to be outside. I love spending time with young people...my neices and nephew are my pride and joy. Daddies are welcome to write as long as they don't have ongoing ex-angst. LOL


My faith in God is of upmost important to me. I try to base most of my life decisions on this. I'm a volunteer youth leader, studying to become a youth pastor and I play various instruments on the worship team at my church. I feel each of us is called to fulfill a purpose on the earth that's far more significant than pursing stuff or events solely for self-gratification. At the same time, I'm very authentic and down to earth. My nose isn't up in the air....I appreciate real people from all walks of life and enjoy getting to know people with different beliefs and cultures. But in terms of a relationship, I'm looking for a guy who finds himself in church most Sundays....because he wants to be there, not because he thinks he has to go. Someone who wants to grow in relationship with God TOGETHER through devotionals, prayer, church, etc.


I LOVE music....I play piano, flute and orchestral percussion primarily, but have been known to dabble with guitar, bass, and drums. And I love most styles from contemporary to opera. I'm most knowledgeable in contemporary Christian because of my involvement with my churches worship team. But I will listen to almost anything and enjoy going to live concerts, theatre, opera and plays. I LOVE teaching (mostly piano) and arranging and I do some composing.

I'd rather hear the truth and be hurt for a day then believe a lie for a moment. I tell it to you straight. I believe in morals, values and principals and appreciate people who stand up for what they believe in. I'm educated and articulate and believe that life is a waste if you think you've learned all you need to learn by the age of 25.

If I've somehow managed to write something here that has you interested and perhaps even intrigued, PLEASE don't be shy to write a note. I'm very friendly! You don't know if you'll catch a fish if you don't cast your line! And if you want to impress me and get my attention, quote SOMETHING from this long description that shows that you actually took the time to read and aren't just writing because you saw a cool pic of some chick playing drums. LOL.

I wouldn't object to an initial meeting over coffee or drinks as it is the safer bet....short and non-committal. However if there really seems to be a connection I would rather go blading or toss around a frisbee or something a little more active and involved. And no, I'm not looking for a pen pal, but I will want to throw around a couple emails and have a phone call or two before meeting in person. Sorry guys...there's a lot of crazy people out there and I gotta have some sense that you're marbles are balanced before I arrange a face-to-face!
