I am a musician/composer and graphic artist in search of
Real Love...I know she is out there somewhere. Ok ok, I am looking for
friends first. I want to take the time to

Well, since the music business isnt like it used to be, I mostly do my music for a hobby now, but I still work on my cd project on occasion.
I am also a
Computer Tech and
Web Designer. I have put together websites for some pretty big people in the music biz, as well as other businesses.

Aside from working on computers and webpages, I love to do freelance graphic art. For example, I designed the complete cover art for Joe Lynn Turner's 2001 CD called "
SLAM". (JLT was ex lead singer for groups like Deep Purple, Yngwie Malmsteen, and Rainbow)
I have a son, who is my world. I raised him alone, as a single parent since he was 6 months old. I have a great relationship with him. He is on his own now, but he knows I am there for him as moral support.
I'm not into strip clubs, or hanging out in bars, nor am I into drugs. I maye have a drink on occasion but even that's rare. I'm looking to share my world with someone special.
I guess what i am saying is that, a
GOOD relationship is
BUILT over time. As the old saying goes,
ROME WASNT built in a day!! :) If you are friends first, chat, send email, etc, that's great. That's how it starts. Then you meet in person, hang out, and get to know each other in person. Then you hang out, spend time together, and then,
IF IT WAS MENT to be,
NATURE WILL TAKE ITS OWN COURSE! :)
Shopping on line for a partner, (or I should say "Instant Love") is like trying to buy that new motherboard for your computer! :o) You don't know if that motherboard is going to work the way you want it to, until you try it out. You need to run it through its paces. GRANTED, you can READ other peoples "REVIEWS" on that motherboard but you can NOT judge by thier WORD alone. Besides they could be working for the company that MAKES that board! And of course, they are going to wanna praise it up. They WANT TO SELL that board to you! Heheh!
Ok, that's enough rambling. :o)
Some of my interests using the computer, include graphic work, photo restoration and manipulation. I have worked with a local photographer friend, a few years back, doing some custom photo work for wedding packages. I have done some graphic work for big time musicians, as well as local bands, businesses, and television. I used to be very good at freehand art, but since then I have made my computer my brush and canvas.
One thing is handy, is knowing how to repair computers and "Keeping Them Running". I have been working as a tech for quite a few years. Now, I just basically work on local friends computers. I help them keep thier systems running and install new hardware and software for them. I build them from the bottom up, as my two main systems are home built. I prefer that way, because then I know what's going in my machine and if something is causing me a problem I will know what it is right off. :o)
As previously mentioned, I am also a musician and composer. I have a midi and digital studio set up in my living room that I use to work on my own creations. I was a drummer when I was much younger. Now, I play guitar and occasionally play the keys. I also used to sing as well, when I used to play in local area bands. I am working on a cd project now, which has been in the long time in the making. :o) Actually in fact, it has a couple of songs that could use a good female lead vocalist. ;o)
One of my other passions is astronomy (the study of the planets/stars and deep space). I am into anything that pertains to that subject. It been my interest ever since I viewed the rings of Saturn, the storms on Jupiter, and the Great Orion Nubula, using a 10 inch Odyssey Scope. It blew me away! I guess you could say i was "Star Stricken", hehe! It is a vast universe out there!
I am into anything and everything that relates to Extraterrestrial Science, Lunar/Planetary, and Deep Space as they are a BIG passion. I was also co-founder of N.O.V.A. ( Northeast Outlook Viewers Association ) Astronomy club with a good friend of mine.
Music :
I especially love rock music. Still into the 80's bands. One of my favourites is the group KISS . I am also a collector of KISS related items! :o) But I also am influenced by groups such as Pink Floyd (which has inspired me on my own recent project). I also like music by artists such as Enigma, for example, you know that kind of music that sets your mind in motion! :o)
There is times I can even be inspired by classical style music. I can sit down and really take in how they are arranged and pieced together. I learn alot from listening to good classical works!
Movies:
I am an avid movie viewer too. I love SCI-FI specially! I am also into thrillers and horrors. Don't get me wrong, I love good comedies and high action dramas, as well. :o)
I would rather stay home and watch a movie in the comfort of home.
Television:
Aside from being a HUGE fan of
SCI-FI, there is quite a few OTHER shows I try to watch too. Such as home improvment shows like
This Old House. I like watching to see how they can take an old rickity old house and make such a beautiful work of art out of it.
When there is nothing else on or I am into relieving some stress I always love to kick on the video games, which is another passion of mine :o)
You know how some of these supposedly young folks are saying that they like "
clubbin'". Man that brings me back to the good old days when I was so much into "
clubbin'", but it got so bad that the Law Enforcement Agencies banned all clubs and "
clubbin'" was getting impossible to do. That left us ALL to fend for ourself, so we reverted to use make shift ones made out of broom handles... we were back in our
glory!!
I wonder if the "
clubbin'" scene changed much??? hehe!
My Ideal Person: I am looking for someone honest and open minded. Someone who doesn't like to fight or argue. I never like to have any bad words. But dont get me wrong, a little quarrel, now and then, is
GOOD for
ANY relationship. I feel it only helps strengthen it. The main thing is to
NOT leave it laying with the bad words
STILL on the table! That's the worst thing to do as it only leads to more problems down the road.
I would like to find someone that has the same interests as that makes a real strong foundation for any good relationship to work. I really do
NOT believe in that whole "
Opposites Attract" thing, when seeking out thier true soul mate! I think that is why alot of relationships just seem to fall apart just because of people that rely totally on that old saying. Granted it works for magnets, hehe, but we are human beings! Compatibility is what's important!
Call me old fashion, but I would like to be with someone that likes to just stay home and watch movies and cuddle. Or even just talk and cuddle! Ok so I love to cuddle hehe! :o) But still like to go out on occasion, like picnics, which can be fun and intimate. Or going to a movie, though nothing beats watching them at home on DVD cuddled up on the sofa. :o)
What would be your most ideal date?:I am not a coffee drinker, so I would have to say that my ideal date would be getting food delivered, renting movies and snuggling on the sofa.
--Update---If you're already in a relationship with someone, please don't lead people on. I have been nothing but honest to everyone I meet on the internet. NO matter what site it is, where or who you are, etc etc. You know what will single you out of the crowd,

Please have a recent picture of yourself. Not like one with other people in the same pic and then I have to play "
Eeny Meeny Miney Moe". That is one big turn off.
Also, if your looking for "
Long Term", as I am as well, being on 100s of favourite lists or vice versa, tells me your are NOT serious about looking for
THAT ONE person, and that you are only here to "GAIN POPULARITY"!! Obviously, I like to start as friends and hope that it will end up a serious relationship. Like I say, Letting Nature Take Its Own Course. I am not a player in that way, the only thing I "play" is my video games..and My Music Too!! hehe!
