So what to tell you about "me". I'm searching for the same thing everyone else is - a life partner. I possess dirty blonde hair and have been told that I have "melting" blue eyes and a "sexy" voice. It's their words, not mine! Maybe it has to do with one of my careers being that of an accomplished singer/song writer, you be the judge.

My friends would tell you all kinds of good things about me just as I'm sure your friends would give a glowing report about you. Mind you, my friends can, and have been brutally honest at times. lol

I'm educated and articulate, in search of a long term relationship with marriage as the ultimate reward which will be a committed relationship based on a solid foundation of friendship involving caring, dedication, honesty, loyalty, compassion and passion, faithfulness with a large dose of chivalry all of which I know will be reciprocated in your own special way/s.

I have a great sense of humour and have had people of all ages in stitches on many occasions even though comedy is not my profession. I, like you, have high morals and an even higher level of integrity. As for kids just ask my friends. Those children that would normally make strange will jump out of your arms and into mine. I can't explain it other than to say a child can sense the good in a person. As for my own children they are open minded and very receptive to my friends, this would include you. I have ample love to share with my children and yours should you have any. I'm open to the possibility of having more but that would be a matter of discussion at a later time.

I pride myself on treating others as I would like to be treated, no games! A relationship is not issued a set of dice nor a board on which to chart its course. In some respects I am old fashioned, a one woman man in search of a one man woman.

Chivalry is always present in my world as long as you don't mind a helping hand or having the door held for you. Chalk this, and my understanding of women's issues, up to the fact that I grew up with older female siblings. Although a physical attraction or "chemistry" is important, I feel it's more important to get to know the real person, that being the one that lies within, than to solely base one's decision on the other person's physical appearance. I've found that the beauty within is far greater than a person's outer beauty. At the risk of sounding vain I can honestly say that I've yet to receive any complaints about my appearance/looks.

Since differences are known to arise in any relationship I'm a firm believer in communication and compromise on both parts as no one should be left to feel they are the one who's always conceding. I'm extremely supportive of my partner, always there to cheer her on as she surpasses her goals and there with encouraging words when things couldn't be worse.

I'm comfortable in jeans and a T-shirt or a tux and tails. My tastes are very diversified, I enjoy camping, the ballet, a rock concert, attending the VSO to mention but a few "likes". I'm also comfortable and confident in any situation no matter what the surroundings.

In my spare time I write the odd poem, songs and children's stories. I enjoy cooking too - basic or gourmet. There are a variety of other things I enjoy as well - just ask.

In my days I've had a variety of pets. As a child I wanted a horse but it was too big to sneak into my room. lol. My musical tastes vary from classical to R&B, jazz, country, rock, some heavy metal, some hip hop's okay too. I also enjoy the fine/performing arts and have a friend who's recently retired as a prima ballerina to start a family. I have a love for the latin languages so if you speak Spanish or French it's a bonus though be advised I'm still learning both and am no where near being fluent in either.

You would be open minded and emotionally stable. Your friends would be a mirror image of yourself. If you have "baggage" I'm not going to run and hide as at our age/s we all have "baggage". It's not what we have but how we deal with it on a daily/weekly/monthly/yearly basis that counts. You would be a business professional who knows what it means to "let your hair down" outside of the office.

I'm looking for someone who will touch my heart in such a way that they're my last thought before I drift off to sleep at night and they're my first thought when I awake from dreaming of them. A special someone that I can call in the middle of the day just to say "hi!" and for the chance to hear the sweet sound of their angelic voice. Someone who will not be embarrassed nor upset at receiving flowers for no reason, whether at work or elsewhere. Your eyes will show me your inner most thoughts and desires for they are the window to your world.

You're someone who will appreciate a dedicated, monogamous relationship with a loyal, trustworthy man. You treat others, as you would like to be treated. You accept and love children and know that if you have children they would be accepted and loved too.

A sense of humour is a must in order to keep pace with me at times.

You'll also appreciate your "me" time just as I will appreciate mine after all, absence does make the heart grow fonder.
