I am a person with a wide array of interests. I really enjoy the fine arts; The Muny, Fox Theater, and movies. But I also enjoy sporting events. My favorite sport to watch is college basketball (men’s or women’s). I also enjoy making improvements to my home, inside or outside. A couple of summers ago I did quite a bit of landscaping. This past month I just finished up some plumbing work that needed to be done.

I don’t get to travel much for my job so I really look forward to vacation times. Last summer I traveled with my kids and niece to Disney World. We had a great time!!! We closed down a park each night that we were there. Our plans are to go back to Disney World again in 2010, but this time with my brother and his entire family. This summer we are likely going to be traveling to the Grand Canyon.
About my job? Most generally my job is an 8-5 job with only a small commute. The commute is so short that I most generally come home for lunch. Coming home for lunch gives me the opportunity to do a few things around the house so that I have more time in the evening to spend with my kids.

My kids are with me about 50% of the time and they do mean a great deal to me. The days that my kids are with me I try to ensure that we always have a meal that we can sit down and eat together. On Saturdays and Sundays I often browse the web for new things that we can try for dinner. The preparation sometimes take the better part of an afternoon but it is all well worth the effort. The biggest hit that I have found so far is a cloned recipe from Macaroni Grill.

I am looking for someone that enjoys doing things as a couple, either at home on in the community. She must be a positive individual who displays that attitude to me and to others. She must be willing to share her feelings in an open and honest manner.
