I VERY recently moved down to the SF bay area from the East Coast (MA) where I had graduated w/ a degree in psych and philosophy. Just moved to the bay area this June!

I would love to meet someone mentally and emotionally mature for their age. I'm into serious relationships and prefer to devote large amounts of time and energy into them.. as they are something of great meaning for me.

People who don't know me very well describe me as very introverted and keeping to myself...even somewhat timid. People typically call me a loner, but the truth is that it really ALL depends on who's company I'm in! If/once I feel comfortable with a person.. I can be extremely talkative... I guess I'm just a bit more selective than most people.

The people who know me best describe me as a very deep thinker.. sometimes to the point of being annoying because my brain doesn't tend to shut off very easily. I'm looking for someone who shares my passion for deep thinking. Someone who's interested in asking 'why' to various things.. and think differently. I appreciate it when people are willing to put effort into really understanding me. I like it when others appreciate the same. I'm labeled as a very sensitive person.

Trust means a lot to me.


I believe in equality in relationships and do not particularly like living up to the traditional male and female roles and feel that the more a person is able to express their true individuality, the more attractive they tend to be.


I think it's important to live up to your full potential...er.. try to.
