Update: I have recently started to quit smoking. I know it isn't easy, and it will be a test of my will power, but I know this time will be the one. I don't know if it matters to anyone, but I thought I would put it out there.

Does anyone really believe what they read in here? Well if you do, I am a warm, good hearted, honest person who is looking to improve the quality of his life by sharing moments with a special someone.

There is a description of Aquarius that I have carried in my wallet for years. This will give you a picture of the person that I am, and what it is that I search for;

"Aquarius is the friendliest sign in the world, you like everyone unless he or she deliberately does something to make him/herself unlikable. There is usually such a crowd of good friends around you that it is hard for you to havetime to become serious about just one person. However, there is one fail-proof way for you to know when you have met the right person and the real thing called love. I don't do the bar scene anymore, I wanted to grow up to be something more than an alcoholic,lol. Now I will go back and visit the bars occasionally to let off some steam and to see the drunks to remind me why I avoid alcohol.

I'm a sincere, good hearted guy, who is a good listener, and is for the most part, optimistic, but also realistic that we can't have all good days, and with sunshine, must come some rain. I realize that I am not perfect (is anyone out there perfect), but I do try to be the best me I can be. I am willing to communicate with someone who will put forth an effort to just care enough to make it work, friendship or otherwise, because I have learned that communication is a key factor to success.

I have been told I am funny, too funny, to the point of people laughing so hard that they want to pee in their pants, or their tummy muscle are sore from laughing (these are their words). I don't know how true this is, but I guess you will have to find out for yourself. Please, don't take my word for it, experience it for yourself.

I am looking for someone who will make me want to be a better person, who will teach me about new things, and most importantly, who will make me smile.

I have become a bit jaded, and over the last few years, I have been working to change that. I am looking for a woman who will rescue me from becoming a grouchy old man. Could you be the one?

Some of my physical preferences are an attractive figure, dark hair(nothing against the blondes though}, and a smile to die for. But in the end none of this really matters cause it's what's on the inside that counts, if there's no spark intellectually, all the looks on the outside will only attract for so long.

P.S. (I actually read my profile, and thought of changing it. Maybe it's a little too honest and not what the ladies want to hear, is what I thought. First Date
Depends on the individual. Probably a coffee or some sort of beverage, and a quite spot to chat and get to know one another.

If that goes well, then maybe a long stroll or a car ride, where we can talk some more but also have other stimuli around (to diminish those first date awkward moments),lol.

Then if all is still going well, maybe a small bite to eat. Hopefully by this time we know if there will be a second date, or maybe just good friends.
