Friendly, trustworthy, dependable, supportive, outgoing, encouraging, loyal, intelligent, trusting ... these are some of my many characteristics. I am divorced after two years of separation. The hardest part is not seeing my two younger daughters everyday. They live with their mother. My oldest lives with me. She is 20 and is in college, so I do not see her everyday either. I love the little things in life like the laughter of children playing, a lick on the face from my dog, a well cooked meal, friendly conversation, the warmth of a fire in the winter, the first leaves and flowers in the spring time, walking on the beach at sunrise or sunset, the smile on someone's face when you give them a helping hand, the touch of a person who really cares for you ... I am looking to meet someone who appreciates the little things in life also.

A first date is hard. I would pick something that gives us a chance to get to know each other. We could meet for coffee and take a walk. This would give us time to talk and something to do at the same time. I am a big people watcher. I love to watch the many different ways they interact. There is so much to entertain us all around. I very rarely get bored. We could walk through a park or the zoo or along the promenade in downtown Baltimore. There are plenty of places and people to see.
