I am considered intelligent with a good sense of humor by my freinds---of course none of them date me!

I like to keep active with a variety of activities.

I am a life time learner and advid reader.

I love the ocean, walks on the beach,live theater, movies, coffee shops; Friday nights at my favorite bar restaurant with my friends; live shows and sporting events.

I am a professional educator, coach and motivational leader. I also run a recreational volleyball club for adults (both indoor in the winter and beach volleyball in the summer).

I am looking for a companion, dates, friendship, intimacy and possibly a long term relationship. The person to help me fulfill these needs would be open minded, value intelligence as well as good looks. My ideal partner would feel safe to share and will have little or no trouble trusting me. She would be willing to share interests and would have an element of independance.

I like a women who is confident enough to share her vulnerabilities knowing she will not be judged but listened to.

She should be physically active person who is willing to try new activities with little or no fear. A person who can laugh at herself, laugh with others, but is not comfortable laughing at others.

By the way, running your fingers through my hair could be challenging, but as my friends say, if you need a good reflective surface to see your hair in, you will not have to look very far.

I am comfortable being me. That does not mean I do not have any vulnerabilities, it just says I have come to terms with them. I want to hear about your interests, I want to share mind.

I consider my self domesticated in that I can cook, clean,sometimes I even iron. I like to cook most and enjoy cooking for special friends and appreciate it when someone cooks for me.

You would be a person who has a positive lifestyle and outlook. You have your preferances but do not force your will on others. Your open minded, willing to share as well as receive. You smile easily and accept the daily challenges of the journey of life.

I am not really locked in on the first date as much as the second date. To me the second date is the one that will decide the direction of the relationship.

The first date can be awkward or great but will not be as telling as the second. So for a first date I think a coffee shop or a long walk followed by a glass of wine or a cup of tea would be a safe 'get to know you situation' for both of us.
