I live and work in the south side of Glasgow, I have my own place and run my own business. I have a daughter (who lives with her mother) from a previous relationship, I appreciate this may put some people off, but I reckon it's best to explain now rather than waste your time and mine if this is would be a problem.

I'm think i'm generally up for a laugh and quite laid back, friends say horizontally so at times, and while i'm ambitious career-wise, life's too short not to enjoy good times with family & friends.

I've gotten back into hiking/trekking/hillclimbing, and like to spend days/weekends in the country and mountain regions. I'm not particularly well-travelled outside the U.K. so if your into travelling abroad, or any outdoor pursuits, all the better.

I'm looking to meet someone that's relaxed, up for a laugh and can bring out the best in me. Looks are not the be all and end all, but obviously there needs to be a mutual attraction of some sort.

My opinion is for the first date the lady chooses, the guy gets to pay (within reason, no trips to Italy lol) but if you're indecisive i'm sure I could come up with something.
