| | Looking for a lady with a well developed sense of humour and a heart of gold. No whiners/drama queens please. Family is very important to me and should be to you also. I am even tempered and have high level of integrity (expecting the same from you). Like to spend some time alone now and again with my male friends and want a lady who is OK with that. I enjoy seeing a play at the NAC as much as playing a round of golf, going out for dinner,dancing (average skill- great enthusiasm) or enjoying a pleasant evening at home together or with family and/or friends. I am relatively outgoing , meet people easily, have a great sense of humour and converse easily with strangers one at a time or in larger group settings. Like water/cottage activities/boating/billiards/reading/music/movies/Arts Centre/table tennis/golf and much more.
My kids are telling me to get out and date and it is nice of them to be mature about this...they want me to take some time for myself and tell me I deserve a very special lady...so here I am on the internet of all things...does it work well for people?? Who knows ?? I am more likely to meet someone through friends/activities etc. I suppose but I may as well fish this way as well and give myself some additional exposure here...or so goes the thinking. I much prefer meeting people for real as opposed to e-mail/internet dating.
I am happy with my current status as a single full-time dad...however... I would love to meet someone that I truly could not live without as opposed to someone simply to co-exist with. Please, let's keep our egos in check and truly get to know one another at a deeper level... No need to be constantly trying to impress each other with inflated egos huh?? One of these days I keep promising myself to spend some time figuring out how to use the word "I' much less often LOL.
I (OOPS there I go again, LOL) love what I do ...allows independence, a chance to help others and an income commensurate with my efforts/talent( for better or worse LOL).
I drink alcohol socially sometimes...never drink alone but am not averse to having a few drinks in a social setting but at the same time can have a great time without touching the stuff. Probably because I am outgoing and can relax easily with others quite naturally. Makes me a great designated driver I guess... LOL !!
