Wouldn't it be nice to have someone special in your life to do fun things with, create memories with and reach goals with? Let's start out as friends and go from there. First on my personal "to do" list is to reach my weight loss goal. I would like my significant other to be supportive of this goal and any other goals I may/do have. I would like my partner interested in living a healthy lifestyle, but includes the occasional comfort/junk food. If you have a personal weight loss success story, please share!

I love to spend time with my grandkids, rent/go to movies, yard sales, festivals, playing backgammon, air hockey, card/board games, weekend getaways, shopping, the arts, etc. I am not a big sports fan but you are probably not a big shopping fan. I rarely drink and hope you rarely drink too.

I'm not looking for the perfect guy, just the perfect guy for me. He won't care that I'm over weight right now and won't be ashamed to be seen with me in public. Please be willing to communicate (and know how to spell halfway decent). If you are young enough to be my offspring or old enough to be my dad, please don't waste your time or mine.

If you are well groomed, a non smoker and have a sense of humor, that's a definite plus! If you are in a 12 step program (or need to be) we probably won't get along. Basically I'm looking for a guy who has his act together, lives alone, and his kids are grown and on their own. Someone goal oriented, caring, sensitive and supportive of my goals.

I love dogs and have two of them, so if you are allergic to dogs we might have a problem.

Eventually I would like to travel the U.S. (and Canada) by motorhome. I really like road trips because you get to see so much and meet some interesting and not so interesting people.

My taste in music varies a lot. Likes: classic rock, current rock, old school, oldies, country, some hip hop, reggae, smooth jazz and some blues. Dislikes: classical, opera, celtic, rap, and metal. Did I forget any? Okay, I have to admit, I still like some disco.

I am very creative and like to think outside the box.
