I'm a shiftworking mom of two wonderful,
young children; who keep me very busy at the moment. I am also much more than what is in this little box.
I'm a country girl at heart, determined to have some property again some day. If you don't like sitting outside enjoying the peace and quiet of the countryside, watching the sun rise and set, if you need the hustle and bustle of the city and the nearest 24 hour stores then please move on to the next profile.
I can glam up (without taking hours to get ready) or dress down. I like to wear heels, maybe because I'm short next to my siblings LOL. Not afraid of a little physical labour or getting dirty -- if you're looking for a Barbie doll with perfect hair and nails all the time - I'm not her. (that doesn't mean I go out of my house looking like a slob either, it means I don't look glamorous when I'm gardening!)
What am I looking for? A best friend, a lover, someone who will be there for me through thick and thin. Can you handle life's joys and disappointments? Do you stand on the sidelines or will you whisk me out onto the dance floor? Are you happy with where your life is going? (Sorry, I'm allergic to cigarette smoke and couch potatoes)
I
am not looking for a friend with benefits. Please ... if you're going to send me a message, at least say something other than 'hey babe' or 'wanna shag' (definite delete) etc {yes, those are actual emails I've received}
I may not be able to respond to your message right away when I read it, but, I will answer if you give me some time.
I might add you to my favourites because I liked something in your profile, or you, but didn't have the time to compose a response and didn't want to lose your profile name; or I was too damn shy!!! I'll assume the same if you add me to yours and don't message me.

Please understand that I get along with my ex well. We have both moved on with our lives but are still friends and put our children ahead of any of our differences. We talk on a regular basis as we both work shift work and are able to work out visitation around our shifts.
First meet -- a quiet restaurant for coffee and dessert (please,not Tim Horton's!). Take a stroll through the park with coffee in hand. A trip to Merla Mae for ice cream.
First date -- something fun, mini golf, rollerskating (yes the old fashioned kind), tobogganing in winter, beach in summer; what can you think of?
