About Me
Hi. You can call me Aaron. My screen name is an old nickname that stuck since junior high. I live simple lifestyle, but I am a dynamic person. Perhaps I'm a walking contradiction, but maybe it all makes sense in the end. See for yourself;
- Though I am disgusted by glossy corporate marketing propaganda, it is the industry that harbours my choice of career.
- I have a Christian-based belief system, but I'm open to all points of view and don't subscribe to an organized religion. I'll enjoy a few beers with you during an intelligent conversation over why God, astrology and evolution can co-exist.
- I have meticulous attention to detail when it comes to art and music, yet I still can't notice when I pass by someone I know.
- I am Canadian and proud to admit that I can't stand hockey or winter (though I'm occasionally up for skiing...)
- I have appreciation for body art (piercings, tattoos) even though I don't really physically represent that...yet.
- I feel that meeting people online based on criteria is misleading and inaccurate. I once told one of my best friends that "if I seen you on [social networking site] and read your profile, I probably wouldn't be your friend." But, here we are!
- My musical taste is eclectic. You'll find me listening to rock, classical, electronic and bluegrass in the same hour.
- I have always had a great interest in traveling, though I have yet to leave Canada and have never flown.
That being said, I enjoy a good conversation over coffee, whether it be serious or hilarious...I love live music and want to see as many shows as I can!..I do Photoshop work for a living and I play music as a hobby, though I would like to turn that around someday...I think my friends can attest to my goofiness, my generous nature, my willingness to listen, and my unique personality. Many say I'm different but, I can assure you, it's in a good way!
I have just moved to Edmonton from Lloydminster as of August 2009. There is so much I want to see and do, especially while integrating with the arts and culture of the community. Will I see more potential? In terms of career, fun and finding cool people to hang out with, I sure hope so!
Don't be shy! It seems quite a few people are hesitant at sending messages!
First Date
Having recently moved to Edmonton, there's a lot I have yet to experience in the city...I'm up for suggestions.
