About Me
I am new to the Ottawa area as of July 1. I was lucky enough to get what I consider my dream job in the Kanata area (if you're curious, feel free to ask!). I will be looking to meet some new people and see all that Ottawa has to offer!
I am looking to take advantage of some of the finer things life has to offer, such as doing a hop, skip and jump across the pond! Destination #1 for me is Rome...should be a good time!
So, for the nitty gritty details; my favourite part! We all enjoy having fun, so there is no need to state the obvious details. You could call me a bit of a geek, as I do love all my toys (e.g.: electronics, and other random tech). I am an avid film goer. I enjoy a wide array of films, as long as there is a decent story, and good entertainment. I am always seeking out new artists and new sounds, and like to think i have a good variety of musical interests. I also love to learn new things, you could say I am a bit of a sponge. Laughing is essential, whether it be at yourself, some silly joke, or just because.
Some fun facts about me: In junior kindergarden I was the only kid in my class to who could count past 100. I am a dog person (I don't own one currently though), I seem to remember random useless facts more then i remember things that might be "important", I used to be in the army reserves - which was a very interesting experience.
So, what do I look for? I would say some of the most important traits are intelligence, sense of humour and ability to laugh at yourself, outgoing, and honest. I know I would like someone who has some similar interests, however, I think different interests are key, as it allows for you to try new, fun things. It's all about keeping it exciting!

Really depends on the person. I think something that can foster good conversation is ideal, however, doing something fun might help lessen the awkwardness that first dates are known to create!
