Hi, I'm Michael. I wish I could type something that would really wow you like I fight bears or delivered a baby while skydiving, but in reality I'm just your average guy that's not really into your average guy stuff. I'm originally from Boston, but spent the last half of my life out here in Vegas minus a 1 and a 1/2 stint living back in Boston for work, fortunately they allowed me work out of the Las Vegas office. What can I say? Vegas is home!

When I'm not pounding away at the keyboard at work you can find me at the gym, practicing kung fu, going to indie rock/folk shows, flipping my car around corners, playing guitar, or watching cooking shows. Actually, cooking is one of my favorite things, I just hate cleaning up so it's something I don't do too often ;)

My favorite bands/musicians are Bowie, Ween, Beck, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Gossip, The Rapture, The (English) Beat, Black Kids, Jens Lekman, Talking Heads, Gram Parsons/Flying Burrito Brothers, Roxy Music, Skankin Pickle.

For nights out I like hitting up the Artisan with friends or any other artsy bar even though I'm much of a drinker anymore. Sorry, I don't do clubs at all, well at least not here in Vegas. Bad music + expensive drinks = no thanks.

I'd really like to meet someone that has a good amount in common with me, which has been proven to be difficult! I do have a **very strong preference** for girls on the artsy/indie/punk side of life. Gingers, single moms with 2+ kids, and red necks need not apply. BTW, the whole internet is pretty much onto the "I'll take pictures with the camera above my head to hide my chunkiness", you're not fooling anyone!!!
