WHAT I LIKE TO DO: I enjoy watching movies. Browsing the internet for useless information...I love the summer and you'll find me outside being active doing something fun in the sun.

WHO I AM: I never want personal happiness at the expense of someone else. I have a very positive attitude and I'm a goal-oriented person. I know where I'm going in life and how to get there.

More thoughts...

Have you ever heard the expression, "boring people are bored"? Well I did, and I think about that every time I get bored and it forces me to do something about it other than sulk. The pursuit of happiness, we are entitled to it, so sometimes find asking myself, what is happiness anyway? Is it the great paying job, or a big house or flashy car? Don't get me wrong, I love luxurious things but I would not be able to enjoy them if I was not happy. Many people have the material luxuries and great looks and some even have fame but are still bored and or dissatisfied with their lives, i.e: a few unnamed celebs, you know who they are.

I believe you need to find some kind of quiet contentment within yourself to be happy, there are many things to be positive about if you take time to look. My life is full of socializing; work, and family, but I have made it a goal to find something that I solely enjoy doing and brings about a purpose. I use to try to fill this hole with religion, partners, addictions (not drugs), you name it. However, it is never long before I would end up where I started. I am a happy and positive person by nature and like people are welcome to join me in enjoying what life has to offer.

Spirituality. This is a topic that is arising in my circle of friends more commonly. I hated the word five years ago, now I'm developing an understanding for it, and it kind of makes sense. I'm not talking about religion because although I do believe religion serves an important purpose regardless of type of faith (Christian, Jewish, Hindu, Budist, Muslim etc…). I consider religion to be a tool that allows us to become spiritual. Becoming spiritual in an effort to find self-love, self-respect, and forgiveness within yourself. Once you can do all this for yourself first, then you can begin to do it for others.

I like to have a good time. I enjoy my night outs, doing something adventurous or going on a great trip. I equally enjoy, if not more, to do something simple, like watching a movie at home or just taking a step back and having a lazy day. All these things make me happy. The older I get, it seems, I enjoy the simple things more and more, maybe I am just getting boring, lol.
