Soo this is the part where I get to sell myself right? lol. Well for starters, I'm Alex and I'm a police officer in NYS. I absolutely love my career, and while it helps define who I am it definitely does not consume my life. I try to make the most out of my free time and I'm open to anything from a great night out with friends for dinner, drinks, or coffee to a night in with a movie, some popcorn and someone special to share it all with ;) I am not a sports fanatic but I can definitely appreciate a good game with just about any NY team... Mets, Yankees, Giants, Jets... you name it! I still have yet to see either of the two new baseball stadiums however, something that I have to change soon. I think I have a pretty awesome sense of humor and you can usually find me laughing about something because life is too short to take seriously all the time! Besides... I have to be serious enough for work so I definitely get my fill of that everyday. I enjoy trying new things in life like vacation destinations, food, and online dating :) Chivalry is not dead... I open car doors, pull out chairs and for the right person, yes I can even be romantic, lol. I am also a big fan of cuddling... but don't tell anyone! :p

Ultimately I'm looking for someone I can form a connection with here. I'm very set/satisfied with my life so far: I've got a career, a house of my own, and now I'd just like to find someone special to share it all with. I am not at all here for a hookup or a one-night-stand, because if I was... well I wouldn't be on here in the first place and I'd just be hanging out at a bar somewhere looking for exactly that. I've been in some long-term relationships and spent a good bit of time dating, so I think I have a pretty good handle on the type of person I'm looking for. I don't have a "type" necessarily, but I'd like to ideally find someone that has her life together. I'd like to find someone educated, social and well...fun! Someone who I can have a great time out with either alone, or with a group of either of our friends. I have no problem meeting people in the course of my daily routine so I'm not on here because I can't talk to people/get a date to save my life. I'm just ready to (hopefully) meet someone that I have great chemistry with and wants to get to know me better as much as I'd like to do the same.
