I am a man of simple means which does not mean that I am intolerant and ignorant. I am generally easy going unless someone bothers me or someone that I care about. Then I can go into an assertive or protective mode. I have a 20 year old daughter who is a junior in college and who lives with her mother and works part-time. I am very proud of her and I love her with all of my heart. She is a daddy's girl.
I would like to encounter someone who is attactive, interesting, humble, kind, caring, giving, mature, intelligent, charmimg, drama-free, and non-combative unless she was in the Marines (lol). I thank you for taking the time to check out my profile. While I may look stern and stoic I am capable of smiling if given good reason to do so and the right motivation. Sex, food, alcohol, and money generally work for most men and not neccessarily in that order (lol). In other words do not judge or make assumptions about people unless you know something about them for certain. Not looking for a trophy girlfriend just someone who I could treasure and be proud to be seen with. The body type average to a few extra pounds is acceptable because in your 40's and 50's you have earned that rite of passage (lol) as long as you are honest with yourself (lol).

On a first date I would possibly like to meet for coffee and if things went well we could go to a restaurant for dinner. If she felt like it after that we might possibly to the mall and walk off our meal in a climate controlled environment and perhaps she would feel safer and more relaxed with the venue.
