The reason I am here is merely to expand my options to meet people. Something different and unique. That said, here's that little summary: Outside of being a hard-core live music junkie, I consider myself to be a highly creative, passionate soul who seeks invigoration and completeness through a variety of creative outlets, such as: music, playing guitar, travel photography, song-writing, singing, performing on occasion, interior design and writing (…can you tell? LOL).

Outwardly I seek rejuvenation from the gift of travel. Whether that be going to Mexico, Germany, or unwinding in Colorado's beautiful Rocky Mountains (to name a few). The summers of Colorado bring me delight with hiking, camping and backpacking every chance I get! This one deserves its own sentence = HOT SPRINGS! I could live in those suckers.

My day "gig" is essentially that of a Technical Writer / Business Analyst. I'm currently a contractor at a broadcasting company working as a Requirements Analyst on a post-production system. My contract is about to expire so I'm now looking for my next opportunity. With my AS and BS degrees behind me, I have spent the last 10 or so years building up my career to where I am now. I'm not interested in climbing the corporate ladder. I'm just interested in having a steady job that pays the bills that offers extra for future planning, traveling, fun and MUSIC. I work to live. Not live to work. Life is too short!

I can be spontaneous or an excellent planner. I can dress to the nine's or get my hands dirty. I can see myself taking off for a long weekend to go camping for a few nights, re-connect with nature during a multi-mile hike and then wrap it up with refreshing hot springs. Sharing this with a special dude would be awesome. Haha. Yep. I said "dude". However I don't prefer skiing or snowboarding due to bad past experiences. But I'm game for snow-shoeing and cross country skiing. Deal breaker? Well shucks. I also like trying new things and new adventures. I'll try anything once except eat crickets. Deal breaker again? Well damn!

As you may or may not tell, I also have a dry / sarcastic sense of humor. 8]

On the personality front I'm very laid back, down-to-earth, pseudo hippie chick, an upfront and honest person, outgoing, confident (not arrogant), a realist, socially active, independent, concise, and secure with who I am and where I am in my life.

I prefer to meet someone who not only loves music, but appreciates live music. An extra bonus would be someone who loves to go camping, hiking and backpacking - like me! For me to connect with someone, having these few things in common is basically a good start. :-) Personality-wise, someone who has a strong self image, self confident, outgoing and positive are traits I find attractive.

Something casual with no expectations. Being a practical, logical person, I prefer to get to know the person. I do not jump into romance or relationships head first. Let things happen naturally and real. :-)
