Hi, TERRIBLE PICTURE! But as you can see, I have dark blondish-brown (some say reddish) hair, green eyed, light complected on the thin/athletic side. I am an audio engineer and own a small commercial demo studio out of my house, and I'm a long-timer at United Parcel Service in Louisville. UPS is actually worth the time once you've put IN the time. It just takes a while. It pays the bills so I can

I am a laid back, undemanding guy looking for same in a girl. No silly drama here. Please don't bring me any and I'll be happy to return the favor.
I'm cooler than the other side of the pillow
I play music (rock), mainly electric and acoustic guitar, but some piano, bass, and drums. I cant sing worth a crap! ha. My life is very music based.
I am building, currently finishing, a new house for myself. Its moving along slowly because I kind of ran out of money! Almost done though, soon soon! Its a very nice first house for sure. I have moved in though, loving it!
If you have been looking for a guy thats different in most every way, drama free, affectionate, caring, has a good and twisted sense of humor, doesn't kill animals for fun or wrap himself up in sports on TV all day, doesn't drive a primered 4 wheel drive truck from 1972 or carry a buck knife in his cowboy boots or behind his huge belt buckle, has a solid long term job and a house and car, never been in jail, doesn't smoke cigarettes, makes up his own hilarious words, laughs easily, has respect for you and other people, likes kids and is great with them and has morals, then this is one stop shopping for you! :) Apply within. I'm not the greatest looker in the world, but I'm not painful to look at either (I hope). I'm definately looking for a permanent, long term relationship and the same in friendships. If you can handle a skinny white dude that has an abundance of friendly personality, then I'm your guy.
I recently came out of about a 14 month relationship that was, to be honest, fantastic. We never argued, never fought, never exchanged a foul word towards each other. Everything felt great, was great, was mutual. And then practically out of nowhere, she threw the ice wall up. Cold feet maybe? I have no idea why, but suddenly I found myself single and dumbfounded. Its scary that people can just flip like a switch. I do know now, though, that I can have a great relationship and that things can be exceptionally good and fulfilling. Now its time to find THE ONE that wont ever leave, ever. I beleive I can have a 50 year relationship if I live that long. I'm ready for it. Is there really a soulmate out there looking for us as hard as we are looking for them? Is it crazy to think so? I don't really know, but I hope so, and mine would be somewhat family oriented, decent morals, very down to earth and easy going with a good (probably offbeat)sense of humor, passionate, loves animals and nature, probably has a child already, and loves music and laughing and learning and shares my gift (yes gift) of touch. Oh, and traveling to new, neat places.
Musically, as I said I'm a rockish guy. I can be caught listening to anything from Alanis Morisette or older Jewel type stuff to Slipknot and everything in between. I'm a TOOL fan of course. Lately been digging stuff like Flobots a little. I lean mostly to modern rock these days, though, anything from Staind to Nickelback or Three Days Grace. At times you might even find me sitting in the dark listening to weird tribal-like percussion CD's but most of the time it'll be rock.
When it comes to playing and writing music my primary instrument is guitar (I have 4 of them!) but I also have a 5-string bass and a piano and a keyboard, so I've been known to use those as writing tools as well. I have a small set of drums that I like to mess around with as well, but I rarely would use those to write. Those are just for fun!
So yeah, there you have it. I think I put enough information here to get you started. The idea I had in mind was to put it out there right from the start and that way we can make more informed decisions and not waste each others time if we somehow are a lousy match. I think that I am a really decent and different kind of guy that really deserves to be happy, and I'm hoping you'll delve in a little deeper and find that out for yourself.
No matter the direction you take, good luck in your search. I'll keep my fingers crossed for ya ;)
I'm so open minded about what to do and where to go, and like to do so much stuff that its hard to say. It would depend on the circumstances. I can be very creative and I know of some neat places and things to do in Louisville that a lot of people overlook. I think meeting on a first date is easier and feels safer to do it in a public place, like a restaurant or movie theatre. I'll do anything not too dangerous, so no, I wont skydive with you, ha... but I'll watch YOU do it! :) I'll go hiking, watch movies, play games, travel, camp, eat out, lay around the house, whatever. I love it all.
