About Me
NOTE*** i have been very busy lately and havent had time to reply to messages, please dont take it personal***
so where to begin about me, i'm 6'1" i have brown hair and light blue, almost grey eyes, i do have acne, but its related to the amount of sleep i get, meaning i sleep good i look good, but hey who doesn't. i'm not fat, nor am i scrawny. i'm for the most part happy with my body, but i do think i need a little more refining, and a girl friend is always decent motivation for that.
as for myself presonality wise, i have a good attitude towards life, or so everyone always says. if your planning on lying to me or playing games, your really not going to impress me. i have a high tolerence for B.S. and drama however i don't like either. i would do anything for one of my friends. i have had some ups and downs in my life thus far,i'm the wiser and more mature from them.i can be a shy person at first but it doesn't take me long to come out of my shell. i get somewhat nervous around attractive woman, (i am a man and yes we are very visual).i don't go party every weekend getting sh*t faced. i spend my weekends chilling with my friends if i'm not working doing farm labour. my new favorite hobby is friday drinks with co-workers at "The George" in okotoks (i live near strathmore but the company office is near okotoks). by no means am i a "momma's boy. i live with my father in Strathmore why? because rent is cheap and the rules are simple. and for how much we both work we barely see each other
my interests are going to the movies, driving, spending my money and reading. chricton is my favorite author. i like to watch movies at home as well (i like to think i have a half decent collection and half decent taste in movies). my taste in music is varied, i listen to country, rock, and rap, maybe a little pop. when i say country i mean george strait, terri clark etc. rascall flatts and carrie underwood are crap not country. i jump radio stations like a jack rabbit. i like to go out to baynes lake in bc were my aunts and uncles have vacation trailers. i know its crude but my favorite show is robot chicken. i do have a horse, although i haven't ridden him in a long time, just kind of lost interest in riding.
i am a full time consultant assistant with a veterinary company in okotoks. i do alot of field work(which varies, my schedule is different, i work alot. my job doesn't really have a set time it ends during the day, its one of those when things for that day are done work is done. and now that we are into the busy season, things get pretty hectic. what i do has been very educational, not everyone gets to work with the best cattle vets in canada on a daily basis. it's inspired me to become a veterinarian in the future. i also work for people i know on the side doing farm labour when they need it. in this world its not what you know but who you know, and when you know the people i know you can go places. i'm not sure how well i would get along with a vegetarian, i'm not a pro-murder the animals type however i still enjoy my steak and a decent rack of ribs.
in terms of the whole dating scene, i'm not a guy who trolls the bar looking for an "easy target". my take on intimacy is that it happens in relationships, one night stands and easy woman are not my thing. i like a gal to have some class and morales. i also like someone who is somewhat fit, i mean i'm by no means perfect myself, but still, if you don't have a little respect for yourself how can i expect you to have respect for anything else, myself included.
i know my messages are not that good. my problem lies in the fact that i don't really know how to introduce myself via email. part of it is the little bit of shyness, but for the most part its writers block from trying to seam appealing to a complete stranger that i only know based on a few paragraphs, the best i can say is give me a shot, what have you got to lose?
First Date
fun and communication, everyone remembers a fun date and a great conversation. i'm not a fan of coffee past noon. but theres so much to do in calgary that its a matter of finding some common ground in what both of us would have fun doing. whether it be going for a walk in the park(maybe building a snow man if its winter?), going for a ride on the bike paths, shopping, i'm open to pretty much anything.
