About Me
I'm a bit of a dreamer. I have this dream of the future, albeit a little distant. In my dream, I'm a successful attorney, working in New York or Toronto, making the type of salary that only a corporate lawyer at a top firm in those cities can pull in, with a great family (wife, kids) to come home to. Have a nice house, maybe even the white picket fence, and have kids going to the best private schools money can buy. Eventually, if I'm lucky enough, I'll earn enough that I'll be able to enter politics and be able to make the change I hope to see in the world. There is a lot I would change, if given the chance.

Alright, maybe I'm a big dreamer. Of course, my mom always did say to aim for the stars, and if you fall short on the moon; that's alright too. With that in mind, I don't know if I can achieve the above, only time will tell. What I do know, is that I want to work towards that. Right now, I'm studying law at the University of Toronto; the best law school in Canada and one of the best in North America. It's my hope that will be a spring-board into the world I hope to one day be a part of. Maybe this site will get me started into the other key element of my dream, finding the girl who I want to spend my life with.

That's not to say I expect to marry the first girl I meet. I don't. However, I'm not really looking for a set of shallow experiences either. I'm not at that point in my life. I'm looking for someone to have fun with, enjoy spending time with [and cuddling at the movies], and maybe falling in love with, as cliche as that might sound. After all, what's the point of having the world if you have no one to share it with?

I'd love to meet someone who has dreams. I think dreams are important, for they provide us with a reason to get up in the morning. However, I'd also like that they be able to communicate, like having fun, and ideally have a witty sense of humor. I love humor. Especially when people can dead-pan without missing a beat. You never know where your conversations will lead. Finally, I hope whoever I meet shares the same curiosity I do, because the world would be a much darker place without that.

If you would like to talk or are interested in saying hello, please feel free to do so. I will do my best to promptly respond.

Random Details About Me:
-I'm an INTJ [Introverted iNtuition Thinking Judging]. If you're not familiar with Myers-Briggs typology, that won't help you much. If you're curious, the link on g-e-o-c-i-t-i-e-s [POF won't even let me say the word] about INTJ is pretty good [If you google INTJ, you can find it]. (I tried to post the link here, but apparently POF didn't like that.)

-I really like movies. It's probably my second favorite pass-time, and I honestly don't have a problem with going to a movie once a week. I don't like horror movies or foreign films, but am fine with romantic movies. [You win some, you lose some I guess :P]

-My favorite pass-time [why is this below my second favorite one anyway? I'm glad my organizational skills have failed me once again] is to go for coffee with friends and discuss the world, thoughts, or whatever. When done after a movie, this is even more enjoyable :P. I'm not a big "luxury" coffee guy though. I'm cool with Tim Hortons.

-I hate fashion. Sorry, it's the truth. I have no interest in even trying to be fashionable; my standard is comfort is the #1 priority. I also have very little patience for people who don't wear sweaters because they couldn't find one to match their shoes. Priorities, people. :P.

-I'm very opinionated. I blame it on being an INTJ. I tend to like to discuss my opinions on things, and enjoy it when other people can discuss things back. It doesn't matter the topic, very little is off limits with me. Politics, religion, ancient history, love, NHL trade rumors... Whatever makes you happy pretty much.

-I like hockey. I wish I still played [sadly I don't.] It's a great game, and by that I mean the greatest game. I generally follow it fairly closely, although I don't religiously watch the games, except maybe in the playoffs. I have two favorite teams [neither involves the Maple Leafs. Sorry :P].

-Every once in a while, my friend and I decide to do something stupid like take the SATs or Mensa test for fun... It's worth noting he outscored me on the former, and we both passed the latter... Joining Mensa is pretty much the stupidest thing you can do. Paying someone else to tell you how smart you are. Yeah, that's the epitome of brilliance right there.

-I like to read. I know that's not overly exciting, but I do. Well, when I'm not reading stupid Contract Law textbooks. I can't stand those. However, there's nothing like just curling up with a nice book. I want my house to have a library one day. I forgot that in my dream. I should revise it. My favorite author is Terry Brooks, and because his Shannara series started my love for the Fantasy genre, I have the Four Lands Map from his series as a poster in my room at home over my desk. I hope to put it in my library one day.

-I'm a bit of a collector. I hate throwing things out, you never know when you might want to make use of it and then not have it. I have probably 200 books at home; for example. Yet another reason for a library :P. It extends to other things too though. Games, pictures, hell, even textbooks. You just never know. I feel like when you throw things out, you throw out part of yourself.

-I like video games. I don't really have time to play them much, but in principle, I do like them. I have a PS3, and I do occasionally play Blizzard games. That said, I don't really enjoy them as much as I used to. They're fun for when people are over, but aren't really an end in and of themselves anymore. Except maybe strategy games, which are always fun to test yourself with.

-Out of everything I've ever accomplished [which, maybe isn't that much], the thing I'm proudest about is having heard from a fellow teaching assistant that one of the reasons I was hired was because of my reputation to "bend over backwards" for a colleague. That meant the world to me, and I would do virtually anything for a friend.

Anything else, you'll have to ask.

First Date
I'm pretty open about this. I guess it depends a lot on the person, and how well I knew them, but I guess something that offered the opportunity to chat.
